Divemaster Course will change your life!
You have completed your open water, advanced and rescue diver courses and are now thinking: how can I take my diving to the next level? The Divemaster course is the answer! Our Divemaster internship can be completed in as little as ten dives. However, you are welcome to take up to 12 months. Indeed, this is one of the benefits the Scuba Shane Diving offers to our Divemaster students with unlimited shore dives.
Why should I become a Divemaster?
When you become a Divemaster, you upgrade your scuba skills to a professional level. Therefore, you can plan, organise, lead and supervise dive expeditions. Additionally, you will be trained to take other divers out and act as their guide and leader. By becoming a Divemaster, you can assist the instructor in diving courses of all previous levels you have already completed. Further, you can use your Divemaster qualification as a stepping stone toward becoming a scuba diving instructor. Divemasters are in high demand across the driving industry, particularly in scuba training facilities.
What does the course involve?
As a Scuba Shane Diving Divemaster student, you will enjoy unlimited shore dives and six boat dives of your choice. Importantly, you must gain experience with different vessels and different locations.
As a Divemaster, you will need to perform a role that consists of several responsibilities. In addition, it is a good idea to be in good health, have a great sense of humour, and have an upbeat personality. Once you are a certified Divemaster, you can expand on other scuba diving opportunities. Indeed, if you perform well, a spot on my team may be available. Scuba Shane Diving believes that a positive attitude is half the battle, and we are always looking for help, which is usually hard to find.
Your role and responsibilities as a Divemaster:
- Assist instructors with their courses.
- Roleplay with the Rescue Diver Course.
- Guide certified divers on daily social trips.
- Perform some social media marketing.
- Lead snorkelers on social trips. Pick up and drop off equipment and tanks as needed.
